Using the Price Mapping detail view

Use the Price Mapping detail view to see information for a selected record. The detail view consists of information fields, tabs, and a user-defined middle section.

Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features.

Click the Price Mappings tab on the Price Service detail view and click the Name link to access the Pricing Mapping detail view.

Note: To customize the selected price mapping, click the Customize link. The Customize link is replaced with the Edit link which indicates that the selected price mapping is customized. You can also use the Copy option to create copy of the existing price mapping.

On this page you can:

Information fields

Name
The display name of the price mapping. Specify a unique and descriptive name for the price mapping.
Sync Direction
Specifies how the price mapping is used by the pricing web service interface. Click the Sync Direction arrow and select from the list:
  • Response: Response value from the web service is captured.
  • Both: Data value is included in the web service request and response.
Property X Path
Specifies the Pricing property XPath. The value specified is relative to Entity XPath provided. For example, UnitBaseAmount
Entity XPath
Specify the Pricing element XPath. The value specified is dependent upon the response content definition. For example, /DataArea/ItemPricesService
Price Service
The price service associated with the price mapping. Click the link to access the Back Office detail view. (Not available from the Add Pricing Mapping window).
Description
A brief description of the price mapping.
Entity XPath
Specify the Pricing element XPath. The value specified is dependent upon the response content definition. For example, /DataArea/ItemPricesService
Entity
The application entity associated with the price mapping.
Property
The application property associated with the price mapping.
Is Active
Use this option to turn on or turn off synchronization for this price mapping.
Is Required
Indicates if the mapping is required by the application.
Is Custom
Indicates whether or not a price mapping is custom and can be modified.
