Promotion Failure Notification workflow

When a BOE enabled entity is promoted in the application, the information is sent to the integrated ERP. Once the ERP acknowledges these modifications, the modified data in CRM is considered to be In Sync with the ERP.

The ERP Promotion Failure Notification workflow can be enabled to receive notifications when a promotion is rejected by the integrated ERP. This workflow sends an Email and creates a new task for the user who promoted the ERP. If the organization is not SSO enabled, only an email is sent.

Note: As part of the installation process, the Administrator must configure this workflow. See Configuring a Standard ION workflow.

On this page you can:

  • Click the drillback link on the task and access the entity to modify the data and promote it again.
  • Access the entity directly and promote to ERP.
  • Set the Task status to Handled and ignore the notification.
Note: If the record is promoted and the task is not Handled, the task gets canceled automatically.
