Accepting or declining an activity

To accept or decline an activity:

  1. Access the Confirmations group on the Activities view, and click the New link in the Notification column for the confirmation you require to accept or decline
    Note: 
    • You can also click Unconfirmed, and click the activity regarding information that displays in blue text next to the activity icon from the Alerts view. See Using alerts
    • Double-click the unconfirmed activity you require to access in the Calendar view.
      Note: Your calendar security determines whose activities you can schedule, modify, complete, or delete. You can also view activities associated with contacts, leads, accounts, opportunities, or tickets that you can access.
  2. Review the activity details.
  3. Specify a response in the Reply field.
  4. Click Accept or Decline.
    Note: You can also accept or decline a new confirmation without reviewing the details from the Alerts Unconfirmed tab by selecting the confirmation and clicking Accept or Decline. See Using alerts
