Using the Product detail view
Use the detail view to see, add, or modify information for a selected record. The detail view consists of information fields, tabs, and a user-defined middle section.
To access the Product detail view: Click Products on the Navigation Bar. The Products list view is displayed.
On this page, you can:
- Click on the toolbar, or click the current group tab.
- Use the Task Pane group list or common tasks.
- View a group.
The Task Pane contains the Common Tasks section. In this section you can Import records.
Information fields
- Name
- The product name.
- Family
- The product family. Select an item from the list.
- Type
- The description of the product type. For example, Physical Product or Download.
- Description
- A description of the product.
- SKU
- The product SKU (Storage Keeping Unit).
- Product Variant
- For CPQ only. The variant product defined by the host ERP system represents a specific, single-use product configuration in CPQ, the host ERP system, and Infor CRM SLX.
- Is Bundle
- Identifies if the product contains sub-products or parts. When selected (and saved), the Product Parts tab is available. After saving, you must refresh this page before the Product Parts tab is available. This option is displayed only if Back Office integration is not enabled.
- Status
- The status of the product. Select an item from the list.
- Cost
- The cost of the product.
- Unit of Measure
- (Back Office only) The scale used to measure the quantity of the commodity.
Additional information may be available if your implementation includes a Back Office Extension. This information is for display only and must be added or edited in the integrated application. For specific questions please refer to the documentation for the integrated application or contact the administrator.

User Defined section
You can drag and drop tabs into the user defined middle section. The tab remains there until it is moved back to the lower section. See Dragging and Dropping
