Adding a quota

Use this view to create a Quota. You can create quotas to set goals for the employees.

Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access this page.

To create a new quota:

  1. Click Quota from the New menu. The Insert Quota page is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Description
    The brief description of the quota.

    For example, the description can include the assigned user name and time period.

    Assigned To
    The user for whom the quota is created. Click Find to select a different user.
    Amount
    The monetary value associated with the quota.
    Active
    Select the check box to indicate that the quota is active and is included in forecasts created for the same time period.
    Start Date
    The date to start the quota time period. You can modify this value.
    End Date
    The end date is calculated automatically based on the company financial settings, However you can modify this value.
  3. Click Save.
