Creating an ION workflow field mappings

To customize an ION workflow as required, you can create Field Mappings to the workflow.

To create ION workflow field mappings:

  1. Add an ION workflow field mapping in the application.
    1. Log in to the application, integrated with ION Desk.
    2. Click App menu.
    3. Click Infor CRM SLX.
    4. Select Integration > Integrations > ION Workflow. The ION Workflow detail view is displayed.
    5. Click ION Workflows tab. The list of Workflows are displayed.
    6. Click workflow_seed. The workflow_seed detail view is displayed.
    7. Click the ION Workflow Field Mappings tab.
    8. Click Add. The Insert Workflow Mapping window is displayed.
    9. Specify this information:
      Entity
      Select Ticket.
      Property
      Select Area.
      Sync Direction
      Select Both.
      Active
      Select this check box.
      Note: Do not modify the other fields.
    10. Click OK.
    Note: Repeat this step to create more field mappings.
  2. Add Workflow properties in ION Desk corresponding to field mappings in the application.
    1. Click App menu.
    2. Click ION Desk.
    3. Select Connect > Monitors & Workflows > Workflows. The Workflows window is displayed.
    4. Click the workflow_seed widget.
    5. Click Clear to deactivate the Workflow.
    6. Click the Workflow Properties link.
    7. Click Add, to add a new property.
    8. Specify Area as the name.
    9. Select StringType in the Type field.
    10. Select Input.
    11. Click Save.
      If you have added more field mappings in the application, repeat this step to add more workflow properties corresponding to each one of those.
      Note: The name must match the value in the name attribute of the Xpath field in the application field mapping.
