Using condition parameters

To use a condition parameter:

  1. Access the Query Builder. See Accessing the Query Builder
  2. Click the Conditions tab in the Query Builder window.
  3. Select a table from the upper left side of the Query Builder.

    If required, click the plus sign to expand the list of tables.

  4. Select a date or time, string, or integer field.
  5. Select an Operator. See Query Builder statement operators
  6. Select Use Value as a Literal option.
  7. Click in the Value Is field, click the arrow and select an item from the list.
    Note: Parameter options are only available for specific field types and operators. See the tables for the options available for field types and operators. See Condition parameters
  8. Specify a numeric value to replace the "x" placeholder value in the field. If you selected a parameter with an "x" placeholder value, the Provide Template Value window is displayed.
  9. Click OK.
