Creating a new Account from a Sales Order

You can create a sales order before you create an account or contact. If the prospect decides to do business with the company, you can create a new account and contact from the sales order with limited company and contact information.

To create:

  1. Create a new sales order.
  2. Click Add Account/Contact icon.
  3. Specify this information in the Quick Insert Account Contact window:
    Account
    The name of the account.
    Type
    The type of the account.
    Main
    The main office phone number.
    Address
    The business address of the account.
    Contact
    The name of the contact.
    Title

    Specify or select the contact title.

    Main

    The phone number of the contact

    Mobile

    The mobile phone number of the contact.

    Email

    The email address of the contact.

  4. Click OK
  5. Click Save.
