Deleting table fields in Database Manager

Use the Table Fields tab in the Database Manager view to delete a field from a table.

Note: 
  • You cannot delete a field associated with a core table or a table associated with an entity.
  • The system administrator can only access these features. These features are not available in Oracle environments.

To delete a field:

  1. Select Administration > Database Manager on the navigation bar.
  2. Click the Tables tab. The Tables list view is displayed.
  3. Click the Fields tab in the Detail pane.
    Note: If the Detail pane is not displayed, click Detail in the list view toolbar.
  4. Select the field and click Delete.
    Note: A warning message is displayed if you are deleting a field from a system table, or a table associated with an entity. Deleting a field in such cases is not allowed.
  5. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
