Updating field access within a security profile

To update field access within a security profile:

  1. Select the tab for the security profile you required to update in the Security Manager view.
  2. Select one of these access levels for each field:
    • Read Write: Users can view and modify the data. This is the default option assigned to all tables and fields.
    • Read Only: Users can only view the data.
    • No Access: Users cannot view or modify the data.

    To apply the same access level to all fields in the security profile, select the check box next to the appropriate column heading. For example, select the check box next to the Read or Write column heading to allow users within the security profile to view and modify data for all of the fields.

  3. Click Save after changing table or field access permissions.
    Note: To undo your changes, click Reset, before saving the changes.
