Configuring a widget
Note: To
use Dashboard widgets, see Dashboard widgets.
- Access the homepage containing the widget you require to modify or configure.
- Click the Ellipsis menu on the widget you require to modify or configure and click Configure.

Specify the Configure Widget information in these fields:
- Title
- The title for the widget.
- Entity
- The entity from which you require to use the data. For example, Opportunities. All entities with list views are available to view in charts and lists.
- Group
- The group for which you require to view data. For example, All Opportunities. All groups available to a user are available to use in charts and lists.
- Dimension
- The data you
require
to view. For example, Probability. All current Range and Distinct
filters are available as dimensions. Note: The available dimensions are dependent on the available entity filters and other configuration settings. Contact your system administrator for more information.
- Metric
- The way you require to calculate the data. For example, Total Actual Amount. All entities with list views have an associated count metric, for example, Lead Count and Account Count. There are additional metrics for Opportunities and History.
- Type
- A subtype of the widget you added. For example a Chart widget
can
be a bar, column, funnel, line, or pie chart. Note: Some widget types may not be available.
- Limit
- Specify the maximum number of items to display in the chart. Based on the selected Dimension, the limit do not apply.
- Click OK.
