Working with forms form designer
To work with the forms form designer:
- View and modify form property values:
- Click on the Web
Form Designer surface anywhere outside of an occupied space, for example in
the upper left corner.
The form properties display in the tabbed area. See Form properties
- View and change property values as required. For example, Active Control is the control you require the user cursor to start on when the view first is displayed.
- Click on the Web

- To determine where a form is
used:
- Click on the Web Form Designer surface anywhere outside of an occupied space, for example in the upper left corner. The form properties display in the tabbed area.
- Select the Usage tab. All the views that contain the form are listed.
- To change the width of a
column of controls:
- Click the column selector above a column. The column properties display in the tabbed area.
- Change Width in the Appearance group.
- Repeat the above step for each column. If Size Type is in terms of percentage, the total of all column widths is normalized to 100.
- To add or delete an empty
row or column:
- Right-click the selection rectangle to the left of a row or above a column.
- Use the context menu to delete or insert an empty row or column.
