Duplicating a contact

You can duplicate a contact for another account. This is useful if a contact joins another company and you require to associate the contact with both accounts. If you require to associate the contact with only the new account you can move the contact to that account. See Moving a contact

You can also choose to duplicate or move other information from the original contact to the new contact. To get the details as to what happens when a contact is duplicated, see What happens when I duplicate a contact?

To duplicate a contact:

  1. Find the required contact to duplicate. See Using the Contact list view
  2. Click Duplicate on the Contact detail view.
