The CRM Workflow based email notification process requires access to an active host SMTP email server. You must configure the options to use:
- Mail Merge output to Email: Mail Merge email messages are sent from the email address defined in the From Email Address option.
- Password self-service: Password self-service is available for the Infor CRM Client and for the Customer Portal. You can reset your own passwords and request for usernames.
Interfacing with smtp.gmail.com as your email gateway requires updating your Gmail account settings to enable less secure apps. See Less secure apps.
