What are Pick Lists?

A pick list consists of values which can be specified in a field. For example, in a City field, the user can select from a list of cities instead of specifying in a value.

Pick lists are useful as pick lists eliminate keystrokes and encourage correct, consistent data entry. After synchronization pick lists provide consistent information across databases.

Based on the pick list attributes, users can:

• Select one or more items from the pick list.
• Add an item to a pick list.
• Modify an item in the pick list.
