Modifying or deleting a role
When you delete a role, you remove all associations to that role. If users were assigned to the deleted role, they no longer have access to actions defined in the role. Users retain access to actions defined in other roles assigned to them.
Note:
- The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features. See What are Roles and Secured Actions?
- Changes take affect after the user logs out of the Web Client.
To modify a role:
- Access the Role detail view for the role to be modified. See Role detail view
- Use the Actions tab to modify the role actions. See Actions tab
- Use the Users tab to add or remove users from the role. See Working with the Users tab
- Click .
To delete a role:
- Access the Role detail view for the role you require to delete. See Role detail view
- Click .
- Click to confirm.
