Viewing contacts or accounts that are nearby

You can search for contacts or accounts which are currently located near a selected contact or account. For example, you have a sales meeting with a new contact and account in Chicago. When you are there you can require to schedule sales meetings with other contacts or Accounts.

Note:

The security access determines the available functions. Contact the administrator for any access rights changes. WebViewer users cannot access full functionality.
You must allow pop-ups before you can view a Contour map.

To search nearby a contact or an account:

Access the Account or Contact detail view for the near by record to be searched.
Expand Common Tasks section and click Accounts Nearby or Contacts Nearby in the Task Pane. See Using the Task Pane
The Contour Search view is displayed with the contact or account in the Starting from field and in the list below. See Performing a Contour Proximity search
Use the Contour Search view to further define the search by changing the Distance, number of Results, Type or Status, and click Search.
Click Display Map to view a map with the listed contacts or accounts or click Create Group to create a group based on the defined search criteria once your list is defined.
