Deploying portals

You can use the Deploy option from the Developer Tools menu to deploy the Portals.

Note: 
  • The system administrator and users with the required permissions can use this option. This feature is not available for Oracle implementations.
  • Deploying a portal logs out all users from the portal client prior to completion. When deploying the SlxClient portal, the user is logged out of the current Web Client session.
  • Before deploying, the user must first rebuild the Web platform. See Rebuilding the Web Platform
  • Infor CRM SLX Cloud environments must first request access from the Infor CRM Cloud Support team. For more information, see Requesting deploy access.
  1. Click Deploy from the Developer Tools menu.
    Note: If you are an Infor CRM SLX Cloud environment, the Deploy menu item is unavailable until access is granted by the Infor CRM Cloud Support team. See Requesting deploy access.
  2. Expand the tree view under Deployments, to search and select the portal or deployment collection of portals you require to deploy. You can select only one item, a deployment or a specific portal.
  3. Click Deploy.
  4. Click OK when prompted, to continue.
    While deploying, the status is displayed in the status bar.
  5. Click Close when finished.
    You can close the window any time after the deployment has started. The deployment continues until the process is completed. After the process is completed, you can view the log information. See Viewing logs
