Adding a defect resolution

When you determine how a defect is going to be resolved, you require to add the information to the defect.

To add a defect resolution:

  1. Access the Defect detail view. See Using the Defect detail view
  2. Select an item from the list in the Status field.
  3. (Optional) Select an item from the list in the Fixed in Version field.
  4. Use the Resolution field to specify the information regarding your repair or process change on the Details tab. See Using a Memo field
  5. (Optional) Click the Defect Tasks tab and modify the Defect Tasks you require to update any tasks for the defect. See Using the Defect Tasks tab
  6. Click Save.
