Deleting Contacts

When you delete a contact you also delete the contact history, notes, and any open activities. You can also delete contacts by deleting the contact account.

To delete a contact

  1. Find the required contact to delete.
  2. Click Delete in the Contact detail view.
  3. Click OK to permanently delete the record, or Cancel to cancel deletion of the record.

To delete multiple contacts

  1. Select one or more records from the Contact list view. To select more than one record, hold down [Ctrl] or [Shift], and highlight the records.
  2. Click Delete link on the Task Pane.
  3. Click OK.
