Using Office Profile Service/Support tab

Use the Service/Support tab in the Office Profile detail view to define or view password options.
Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features. See What are Roles and Secured Actions?

To access theService/Support tab:

  1. Click Administration on the Navigation Bar.
  2. Click Office Profiles. The Office Profiles list view is displayed.
    Note: If required, use the Lookup to locate an office profile.
  3. Click the Company Name. The Office Profile detail view is displayed.
  4. Click the Service/Support tab.
  5. Manage Urgency Codes to prioritize tickets. See Managing urgency codes
  6. Set the options to define the approval process to determine which new tickets and defects are added to SpeedSearch.
    • Select the Use Approval Process option to use an approval process to determine which new tickets and defects are added to SpeedSearch.
    • Click the Default Public Access option and select from the list:
      • 5 - Internal: If you select this option, the users who are responsible for approving SpeedSearch submissions view a Public Access field on the Ticket and Defect detail views that defaults to 5-Internal. This means that by default, new tickets and defects are included in SpeedSearch indexes that only internal users can access.
      • 1- Customer: If you select this option, the users who are responsible for approving SpeedSearch submissions view a Public Access field on the Ticket or Defect detail view that defaults to 1-Customer. This means by default, new tickets and defects are included in SpeedSearch indexes that both internal users and customers using Web Customer Portal can access.
  7. Click the Web Access User lookup in the Customer Portal section to select the appropriate Customer Portal web access user.
    Note: Customer Portal requires a web access user to provide the non Infor CRM SLX users authorization to access the parts of Infor CRM SLX functionality. Customer Portal uses permissions of the Customer Portal user with appropriate authorization to perform certain actions, and records history, logs and so on to that user.
  8. Click Save.
