Adding a field view

You can use the Add Field window to add a new field.

The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features. See What are Roles and Secured Actions?

Note: Some fields and field types cannot be added or edited.

You can access the Add Field window from:

  • The Entity Manager:
    • Select Entity Manager on the Navigation Bar.
    • Select an entity for the required field from the Entity Manager list.
    • Select the Fields tab in the lower pane and click Add.
  • The Entity Tasks section:
    • Access the Entity Manager list view and click New Entity under the Task Pane to create an entity. See Creating a new entity
    • Specify the information in the wizard to access the Enter Fields screen.
    • Click Add.
