Activities tab
The Activities tab displays in the Account, Contact, Ticket, Lead, Opportunity, Sales Order, Quote, Campaign, Return, and Defect detail views. Use the Activities tab to manage activities and events related to the current record. Information displayed on the Activities tab includes the activity type, date and time, duration, user, category and regarding.
Note: The calendar security
determines whose activities you can view, schedule, modify, complete, accept or decline,
or delete. You can also view activities associated with contacts, leads, accounts,
opportunities, or tickets that you can access.
Click the Activities tab on the Contact, Account, Opportunity, Lead, Sales Order, Quote, Campaign, Return, Defect, or the Ticket detail view, to access the Activities tab. If the Activities tab is not visible, click . See More tabs
On this page you can:
- Click the Activity Type, to view the activity information.
- Click and follow the steps to schedule a phone call.
- Click and follow the steps to schedule a meeting.
- Click and follow the steps to schedule a to-do.
- Filter the list:
- Click .
- Do one or more of
the following:
- In the Type field, select a value from the list.
- Use the Date Range field to select a date range during which the attachment was last updated.
- Click the User field and select a value from the list.
- In the Regarding field, specify one or more characters contained in the regarding information. The more characters you specify, a shorter list is returned.
- Click to filter the list or to clear the filter options. Click the again to hide the filters.
- Complete an activity:
- Click for the activity to be completed.
