Updating Sales Process stages
You can update the stages in a Sales Process. You can complete a stage even if you have not completed all of the stage steps. You can also change the current stage.
Note: If you skip a stage, the opportunity probability
is
not updated.
For the opportunity probability to update automatically, you must complete the stages in
order.
To change the current stage
- Click Sales Process tab from the Opportunity detail view. If the tab is not visible, click . See More Tabs.
- Select a stage in the Stages field. If prompted, click .
To complete a stage
- Click Sales Process tab from the Opportunity detail view. If the tab is not visible, click More Tabs.
- Click the link next to
the list.
The Manage Stages window is displayed.
- Select the check box in the Completed column to identify the stage you require to complete, and close the window.
