Using the Quota detail view
Use the Quota detail view to see, add, or modify information of a selected record.
Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can use
this functionality.
To access the Quota detail view, you can click on the Navigation Bar the Quotas list view is displayed. If required ,use the to select a quota, and then click on the description.
On this page you can:
- Use the Using Lookup. to search for records. See
- View a group. See What are Groups?.
- Click , or click the current group tab on the tool bar to switch to the list view.
- Copy Quota. See Copying a Quota.
- Copy the quota for next period. See Copying a Quota.
Information Fields
Specify this information:
- Description
- A brief description of the quota. By default, the description includes the assigned user name and time period, but the description can be edited.
- Assigned To
- The user for which you are creating the quota. If necessary, click the to lookup and select a different user.
- Amount
- Specify the quota monetary value.
- Active
- If selected, indicates that the quota is current. Use this to identify if this is the quota for the current time period. A quota must be active in order to be included in a forecast worksheet.
- Start Date
- The date to start the quota time period.
- End Date
- The date the quota time period ends. The end date is automatically calculated based on your company financial settings, but can be edited.
