Using the Opportunity detail view
Use the Opportunity detail view to see, add, or edit information for a selected record. The detail view consists of information fields, tabs, and a user-defined middle section.
To access the Opportunity detail view, click on the Navigation Bar. The Opportunity list view is displayed. If required, use the to locate an opportunity, and then select the opportunity name.
On this page you can:

- Click or click the current group tab on the toolbar to switch to the list view.
- The Task Pane contains the
Common Tasks section. In this section, you can:

- Email. See Emailing Contacts or Leads.
- Add Note. See Adding a Note.

- The Task Pane contains the
Opportunity Tasks section. In this section, you can:

- Click to retrieve prices for the products added to the Opportunities.
Information Fields
The opportunity information fields contain primary information about the opportunity. Users with appropriate permissions can edit these fields. The opportunity snapshot is displayed in the upper section of the detail view as well.
