Field Mappings tab

Use the Field Mappings tab to view and manage the field mappings. Field mappings are field-level associations that support synchronization between Infor CRM SLX and an ION back office integration. See Infor CRM Back Office Extension only

The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features. See What are Roles and Secured Actions?

  1. Click the Field Mappings tab, on the ION BOD mapping detail view.
  2. Click the Name to access the BOD Field Mapping detail view and view ION Field Mapping details. See Using the field mapping detail view
  3. Modify field mappings:
    1. Select the field mapping that must be edited.
    2. Click in the grid to modify this information:
      Name
      The name of the field map. To customize the field mapping, click the Customize link for the selected record. After you customize the field mapping, the Customize link is replaced with Edit link. This indicates that the record is customized. Click Copy to duplicate a selected record.
      Entity
      The Infor CRM SLX entity, or record type, being mapped.
      Entity XPath
      The BOD element XPath for this entity. You can refer to the Any BOD chapter in the Infor CRM SLXInfor CRM SLX Back Office Extension Installation Guide, to modify this field.
      Property
      The field name of the entity that is mapped. The Infor CRM SLX property name being mapped must be specified.
      Property XPath
      The BOD element wherein you can find the field mapping information from the Infor CRM SLX BOD Mapping (Inbound) guide. The value specified must correspond with the related Xpath from the noun element in the BOD XML message. For example, specify /PartyIDs/ID.
      Sync Direction
      Indicates whether the Infor CRM SLX and the integrated product are synchronized. Possible values:
      • Both: for inbound and outbound BODs
      • In: for inbound BODs
      • Out: for outbound BODs
      Custom
      Indicates whether a field mapping is customized.
      Active
      Indicates whether synchronization for this BOD mapping is enabled.
      Search Clause
      Indicates if the field mapping requires a match (AND) or is one of several match criteria (OR). This is only used if Include in Search is set to True.
      Include In Search
      Indicates whether the Field Mapping is used as match criteria for Inbound process BODs.
    3. Click Save.
  4. Perform these steps to add a field mapping:
    1. Click Add New Field Mapping.
    2. Follow these steps for adding a field mapping.
    Note: On this page you can select a record and click Delete, to delete the selected field mapping.
