Using Welcome Page Widgets

Infor CRM SLX provides several out of the box widgets for the Welcome page. You can add, edit, and remove widgets from the Welcome page, and you can rearrange widgets on the page with drag-and-drop.

Using pre-defined dimensions, which are a type of filter, you can display metrics for the data across ranges or from the distinct values and display this data in one of the charting widgets. For example, you can configure a column chart widget to display all the opportunities closed and won, by an owner and the total amount of the sale, or a pie chart depicting the sales won by a team.

Note: The list of available widgets is determined by the implementation. You cannot have access to all the widget types.

On this page you can:

  • Add a widget:
    1. Click Welcome on the Navigation pane.
    2. Right-click a tab, and select Add Content.
    3. Click Add on the widget to be added in the Add Content field.

      For example, to add a pie chart widget, click Add under Pie Chart.

      The blank widget displayed on the tab and the widget editor is displayed.

    4. Configure the widget settings, and click OK.
  • Edit an existing widget:
    1. click Welcome on the Navigation pane.
    2. Select the required tab to add a widget to or contains the widget to edit.
    3. Select Settings from the widget toolbar.
    4. Perform the required changes.
    5. Click OK. The widget displays the changes.
  • Configure a Welcome Page Charting widget.
  • Configure the Welcome Page Group List widget.
  • Configure the Welcome Page SData widget.
  • Configure the Welcome Page Website widget.
  • Configure the Welcome Page Web Feed widget.
  • Select Minimize icon from the Widget toolbar to minimize a widget. The widget content is minimized in the dashboard.
    Note: You can click this icon again to maximize the widget.
  • Select Close from the widget toolbar to remove a widget. The widget is permanently removed from the tab.
