Using the Forecast Pipeline view

The Forecast Pipeline view displays opportunity pipeline information. You must select the Add to Forecast option in the Opportunity detail view to include an opportunity information in forecast pipeline. See Including Opportunities in Forecast.

You can use Groups and Lookup to filter the records or select one of the provided groups that segments the pipeline by specific criteria.

To access the Forecasts Pipeline view, you can click Forecast Pipeline on the Navigation Bar.

On this page you can:

• Click Refresh, to refresh the list information.
• Work with records in a grid. See Working with Grids in list views and tabs.
• Filter My list. See Using Task Pane Filters.
• Use the Lookup to search for records. See Using Lookup.
• View a group. See What are Groups?.
• Use the group shortcut menu. See Using the Group Shortcut Menu.
• Manage groups. See Using the Groups List.

The Task Pane contains the Common Tasks section. In this section, you can:

• Export Records. Exporting Records to a File.
• Promote to Dashboard. See Promoting a Group to the Dashboard.

Forecast Pipeline groups:

• Pipeline by Country: Lists pipelines by country
• Pipeline by Product: Lists pipelines by country
• Pipeline by Region: Lists pipelines by region
• Pipeline by Manager: Lists pipelines by manager
• Pipeline by Account Manager: Lists pipelines by account manager
• Pipeline by State: Lists pipelines by state

Forecast Pipeline information:

• 0 to 30 Days: Pipeline value for 0-30 days
• 31 to 60 Days: Pipeline value for 31 to 60 days
• 61 plus Days: Pipeline value for 61 or more days
• Total Value: The sum of the pipeline values for each time period.
