Office Profile Email Setup tab

The CRM Workflow based email notification process requires access to an active host SMTP email server. An administrator or an Integrator can use the Office Profile Email Setup tab to configure the host SMTP email server for automation email notifications. You must configure the Email Setup options to use:

  • Mail Merge output to Email: Mail Merge email messages are sent from the email address defined in the From Email Address option.
  • Password self-service: Password self-service is available for the Infor CRM Client and for the Customer Portal. You can reset your own passwords and request for usernames.

Interfacing with smtp.gmail.com as your email gateway requires updating your Gmail account settings to enable less secure apps. See Less secure apps.
