Importing Leads from a list

Use the Import Leads view to import lists of leads into Infor CRM SLX. You can import leads from a comma-separated-values (CSV) list. Valid file types include Microsoft Excel, .txt files, and other database file types, which must be saved as a CSV file.

Note: The text files must be either ANSI or ASCII delimited text files.

To import leads:

  1. Select Import Leads from the Tools menu.
  2. Specify the Select a File information and click Next. See Selecting a File to Import
  3. Specify the Define Delimiter information and click Next. See Defining a Delimiter
  4. Specify the Map Fields information and click Next. See Mapping Import Fields
  5. Specify the Manage Duplicates information and click Next. See Managing Duplicate Records
  6. Specify the Select Import Actions information and click Next. See Selecting Import Group Actions
  7. Review the Import selections and click Submit. See Reviewing Import Selections
  8. Monitor the Import Process Request. See Processing the Import
  9. Click the Import Number link to see the import history results in the Import History view when the import is finished. See Using the Import History Detail View
