Adding a defect Activity Rate

Use the Insert Defect Activity Rate view to add a rate for a defect activity type.

Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features. See What are Roles and Secured Actions?

To add a defect activity rate:

  1. Click Defect Activity Rate on the New menu.
    Note: To add a defect activity rate, you can also expand Support, right-click Defect Activity Rates from the shortcut menu, and then click New Defect Activity Rate on the Navigation Bar.
  2. Specify this information in the Insert Defect Activity Rate window:
    Type
    The name of the pricing rate.
    Description
    A short description for the rate.
    Rate / Hour
    A rate per hour for the activity type.
  3. Click Save.
