Product Parts Tab

Use this tab to add, modify, or remove the product parts (or other products) associated with the product. Product parts are included with the product without any impact to the price.
To access this page, click the Product Parts tab on the Product Detail view. See Using the Product Detail View.
Note: This tab is only available if the Is Bundle option is selected in the upper section of the Product detail view. After saving, you may need to refresh the page before the Product Parts tab is available.
You can perform these actions:
  • Add product parts to a product:
    1. Click Select Product.
    2. Use the lookup to find the product you want to add.
      Note: The products are not included in lookup if Is Bundle is selected.
    3. Click Add Selected after selecting one or more products.
  • Edit the product quantity: Select the record you want to edit, make your changes in the grid, and click Save. To undo the changes, click Reset before you click Save.
    Note: All the columns can not be edited in the grid. To determine if a column can be edited, click in the grid. If a white field appears, then the column can be edited.
  • To remove a product part from a product:
    1. Select the required record which must be removed and click Remove.
    2. Click OK.
This view contains the following columns:

Field Name Description
Line Number Displays the line number assigned to each item on the product
Part Displays the product name.
SKU Displays the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) for the product.
Quantity Displays the numeric amount of the product part included in the product.
