What is Infor OS Portal (Ming.le)?

Infor OS Portal (Ming.le) is an application framework that provides a common user interface for integrated Infor applications. The Infor OS Portal (Ming.le) interface includes a top navigation panel with an application panel to activate the display of Infor applications.

Infor OS Portal (Ming.le) provides drill-back capability among Infor applications so that users can navigate from one application to another to track transactions, the transfer of data, and report updates. Additionally, Infor OS Portal (Ming.le) provides an infrastructure for sharing content among the different context applications.

If your company has configured Infor OS Portal (Ming.le), then when you sign in to Infor OS Portal (Ming.le), you are also able to access Infor CRM SLX without having to sign in to Infor CRM SLX separately.

The features available and navigation depend on the version of Infor OS Portal or Infor Ming.le implemented in your environment.

Note: Signing in to Infor OS Portal (Ming.le) using the browser Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) may display a message that the current browser configuration is not supported. If this message displays, then the website must be added to the browser's Compatibility View Settings with the option to display intranet sites in Compatibility View selected.

You can perform these actions:

  • Open Infor CRM SLX from within Infor OS Portal Ming.le:
    • Infor OS Portal: Click the Navigation Menu on the left side of the Infor OS Portal toolbar, scroll to Applications, click See More if necessary, and then click Infor CRM.
    • Click App Menu on the left side of the Infor Ming.le toolbar, and then click Infor CRM SLX.
  • Use the User Menu: Using the user menu in the Infor OS Portal online help or Working with the Profile menu topic in the Infor OS Portal Ming.le online help.
  • Add Dashboard widgets to show in Infor Ming.le
