Lead Information Fields

The following table describes the default information fields:

Field Description/Action
Address Address or location of the lead. Click search_new (Find) to open the Edit Address dialog field. To view a map of the address, click map_new (Map). If Contour integration is enabled and configured, the map is opened using the Contour provider. If a provider is not configured then the address opens in MapQuest.
Business Description Specify a description of the lead's business.
Comments Type any additional notes about the lead.
Company Lead's company name.
Do not Solicit

Do not Email, Do not Call, Do not Mail, Do not Fax

If selected, designates the lead as Do not Solicit. Leads marked as Do not Solicit can be filtered out of the Mail Merge process and Marketing Campaigns.

If Do not Solicit is not selected for the lead, any combination of one or more of the remaining Do not fields can be selected.

Email Lead’s email address. Click in the field and type any changes. To send an email message to the lead, click (Email).
Industry The industry to which the lead belongs. Click the drop-down arrow button and select an item from the list.
Interested in List the leads's interests or hobbies.
Lead Source How the lead was generated. Click the drop-down arrow and select an item from the list.
Mobile Lead’s mobile phone number. Click this field and specify required changes.
Name Lead’s full name. Click edit (Edit) to open the Edit Name window and make changes in this window.
Owner Person or team within the organization that has access to the lead. Click search_new (Find) to find the user or team within the organization that has access to the lead.
Phone Lead’s telephone number. Click in the field and specify any changes.
Qualification A lead contains unqualified information. You can use lead qualification criteria to validate information and determine if the lead is a sales opportunity.
  1. Select the qualification category on the Qualification field.
  2. Click Is Lead already a customer? to determine if the lead already exists in Infor CRM SLX as a contact or account.
    1. Use the Lead window to look for and merge duplicate records.
    2. If no matches are found, click Cancel and continue to the next step.
  3. For each of the qualification criteria, select the box if the criteria has been satisfied, and specify any notes in the text box.
Once qualified, you can convert a lead to a contact and account and create a new sales opportunity.
SIC Code Standard Industrial Classification Code of the company.
Title Lead’s title within the company. Click the drop-down arrow and select an item from the list.
Web Web address for the lead. Click the field, and specify any changes. To open the lead's Web site, click url (WWW).
