Deleting Contacts

When you delete a contact you also delete the contact's history, notes, and any open activities. You can also delete contacts by deleting the contact's account.

To delete a contact

  1. Find the contact you want to delete.
  2. Click Delete on the Contact Detail view.
  3. Click OK to permanently delete the record, or Cancel to cancel deletion of the record.

To delete multiple contacts

  1. From the Contact List view, select one or more records. To select more than one record, hold down [Ctrl] or [Shift], and highlight the records.
  2. Click the Delete link on the Task Pane.
  3. Click OK.
