Copying a Web Email Template

You can copy a Web email template that you created or copy a template created by another user so that you can make changes to it.
Note: This feature is for copying Web Email templates. To copy a Microsoft Word template, see Copying a Word Template.

To copy a web email template

  1. Click Manage Email Templates on the Compose menu.
  2. In the Email Templates list view, find the template you want to copy, and click the template’s name. For more information, See Using the Email Templates List view.
  3. Click the Copy Template icon copy_clipboard in the Email Template detail view..
  4. In the copied template’s detail view, edit the Name or Description if necessary. The name is defaulted with the original template name appended with “- Copy” and the Description is same as the original template. Contact/Lead and Create User cannot be edited.
  5. Make any changes to the Body section.
    • Click in the Body section and type or edit text.
    • Use the format toolbar to format text. For example, create headings, bold or underline text, select a different font, or create a bulleted or numbered list.
    • Type @ and begin typing the name of the Infor CRM property you want to add, a list of matching properties displays. When you see the property you want to add, click the property in the list.
  6. When finished, save.png (Save).
