Assigning Secured Actions to a Role

Secured actions secure user interface elements. Once a secured action is applied to a user interface element, only users who are assigned a role that includes the secured action can see and use the elements. You can assign one or more secured actions to a role.

To assign:

  1. Open the Secured Actions List view.
  2. Select the secured actions that you want to assign to a role.
  3. In the Secured Action Tasks section, click Add to Role link.
  4. In the Select Role window, click search_new (Find), use the lookup to find and select the desired role, and click OK.
  5. Click OK.
