Exposing an Entity for Dashboards

Infor CRM SLX provides widgets such as bar and pie chart templates that users can add to their dashboard pages and then configure to show data. See Dashboard Widgets.

The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features.

To configure a widget, the user must choose an entity, a group, a dimension, and a metric. Dimensions, a type of filter, determine what information will be displayed. Metrics are the calculation applied to the selected dimension. A default set of entities and their dimensions and metrics are available in the widget editors, but you can add more entities and more dimensions and metrics.

Note: You should only expose entities that have a list view defined as at least one group must exist in order to define a widget.

To expose an entity for dashboard you must define at least one filter and one metric.
