Accepting or Declining an Activity

To accept or decline an activity:

  1. Perform one of the following:
    • On the Activities view, open the Confirmations group, and then click the New link in the Notification column for the confirmation you want to accept or decline.
    • From the Alerts view, click Unconfirmed, and then click the activity's regarding information that appears in blue text next to the activity icon.
    • On the Calendar, double-click the unconfirmed activity you want to open.
      Note: Your calendar security determines whose activities you can schedule, edit, complete, or delete. You can also view activities associated with contacts, leads, accounts, opportunities, or tickets that you can access.
  2. Review the activity details.
  3. Specify a response in the Reply field.
  4. Click Accept or Decline.
    Note: You can also accept or decline a new confirmation without reviewing the details from the Alerts Unconfirmed tab by selecting the confirmation and clicking Accept or Decline.
