Promoting a user to Marketo

A new user, created by the Administrator, can be promoted to Marketo.

Note: Only the users with the Administrator role can execute this process.

To promote a user to Marketo:

  1. Select Administration > Users. The Users List view is displayed.
  2. Click the name of the user. The User Detail view is displayed.
  3. Click the Marketo Sales Person tab.
  4. Click to promote the user to Marketo.
    The user details are synchronized with Marketo and after the synchronization is completed successfully, this information is displayed on the tab:
    User Name
    The user name assigned to the user in Marketo.
    Marketo ID
    The ID assigned to the user in Marketo.
    Status
    Indicates if the user data is synchronized with Marketo. The possible values are:
    • Linked: Indicates that the user data is synchronized with Marketo.
    • Unlinked: Indicates that the user data is not synchronized with Marketo.
    Next Action
    Indicates the next action to be performed, to synchronize the user data with Marketo. The possible options are:
    • Insert
    • Update
    Last Action
    Indicates the last action executed, to synchronize the user data with Marketo. The possible options are:
    • Insert
    • Update
