Opportunity Tab - Forecast Detail view

Use the Opportunities tab of the Forecast Detail view to see information about your opportunity pipeline. The Opportunities tab lists the assigned user’s opportunities with a closed-won date or expected close date that is between the forecast start and end dates. For an opportunity to be included in forecasts, select the Add to Forecast check box on the Opportunity Detail view.

To access the Opportunities tab, click the tab on the Forecast Detail view.

On this page you can:

  • Click Reset to ensure you have the latest opportunities information. All removed opportunities are automatically added back to the list on refreshing the list.
  • Click Remove corresponding to the opportunity to remove an opportunity from the list and from being included in the forecast.

    If you refresh the list of opportunities, any removed opportunities are automatically added back to the list. To ensure an opportunity is not included in the forecast, go to the Opportunity detail view and clear the Add to Forecast check box.

  • You can review this information:
    Fields Description
    Opportunity The opportunity description.
    Estimated Close The date an opportunity is estimated to close.
    Actual Close The date an opportunity closed.
    Probability The likelihood that the opportunity is expected to be won.
    Status The opportunity status.
    Minimum The opportunity weighted potential revenue. Weighted potential values are calculated by multiplying the potential revenue of the opportunity by the probability that the opportunity closes.
    Maximum The total revenue that can be generated by the opportunity.
