Using the Defect Tickets Tab

Use this tab to add or remove an association between tickets and defects. Management and other users may use this information to determine the severity of the defect and actions needed to correct the defect.

To open the Tickets tab:

  1. Open the Defect Detail view.
  2. Click the Tickets tab. If the tab is not visible, click More Tabs.

To view ticket details do one of the following:

  1. Click the Ticket ID to go to the Ticket Detail view.
  2. When you select a record in the list, the details of that record display in the preview pane to the right of the list.

To associate a ticket:

  1. Click add.png (Associate Ticket).
  2. Locate and select the ticket using the lookup.
  3. Click OK.

To disassociate a ticket:

  1. Click the Remove link next to the record you want to remove.
  2. Click OK.
