Activities Tab

The Activities tab appears in the Account, Contact, Ticket, Lead, Opportunity, Sales Order, Quote, Campaign, Return, and Defect Detail views. Use the Activities tab to manage activities and events related to the current record. Information displayed on the Activities tab includes the activity type, date and time, duration, user, category and regarding.

Note: The calendar security determines whose activities you can view, schedule, edit, complete, accept/decline, or delete. You can also view activities associated with contacts, leads, accounts, opportunities, or tickets that you can access.

Click the Activities tab on the Contact, Account, Opportunity, Lead, Sales Order, Quote, Campaign, Return, Defect, or the Ticket detail view, to open the Activities tab. If the Activities tab is not visible, click More Tabs.

On this page you can:

  • Filter the list:
    1. Click (Filter).
    2. Do one or more of the following:
      • In the Type field, select a value from the list.
      • Use the Date Range field to select a date range during which the attachment was last updated.
      • Click the User field and select a value from the list.
      • In the Regarding field, specify one or more characters contained in the regarding information. The more characters you specify, a shorter list is returned.
    3. Click Apply to filter the list or Reset to clear the filter options.

      Click the Filter button again to hide the filters.

  • Click the Activity Type, to view the activity information.
  • Click (Schedule Phone Call) and follow the steps to schedule a phone call.
  • Click (Schedule Meeting) and follow the steps to schedule a meeting.
  • Click (Schedule To-Do) and follow the steps to schedule to-do.
  • Complete an activity:
    1. Click Complete for the activity to be completed.
    2. Follow the steps for completing an activity.
      Note: For a timed activity related to a ticket, use the Ticket Activity tab.
