Using the Opportunity Detail View

Use the Detail view to see, add, or edit information for a selected record. The Detail view consists of information fields, tabs, and a user-defined middle section.

Note:  Security access determines the available functions. Contact the administrator for any modifications in access rights. WebViewer users cannot access full functionality.

To open the Opportunity Detail view, click Opportunities on the Navigation Bar. The Opportunity List view is displayed. If required, use the Lookup to locate an opportunity, and then click the opportunity name.

Information Fields

The opportunity information fields contain primary information about the opportunity. Users with appropriate permissions can edit these fields. The opportunity snapshot is displayed in the upper section of the detail view as well.

User Defined Section

You can drag and drop tabs into the user defined section.
