Using the Product Detail View

Use the Detail view to see, add, or edit information for a selected record. The detail view consists of information fields, tabs, and a user-defined middle section.

Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features.

Open the Product Detail view: Click Products on the Navigation Bar to open the Products List view or use the lookup to locate a product, and click on the product name.

On this page you can:

The Task Pane contains the Common Tasks section. In this section you can Import records.

Information Fields

Field Name Description
Name The product name.
Description A description of the product.
SKU The product SKU (Storage Keeping Unit).
Family The product family. Select an item from the list.
Type The description of the product type. For example, Physical Product or Download.
Status The status of the product. Select an item from the list.
Cost The cost of the product.
Unit of Measure The scale used to measure the quantity of the commodity.

Additional information may be available if your implementation includes a Back Office Extension. This information is for display only and must be added or edited in the integrated application. For specific questions please refer to the documentation for the integrated application or contact the administrator.

Detail View Tabs

Each tab shows specific information you can use for opportunity related activities.

  • Packages
  • Price Levels.
    Note: You can view the Price Levels tab, only if the Value field is set to True, on the Options tab, in the Back Office Extension Detail view, for at least one of these options (or if the Back office extension is disabled):
    • Local CRM Pricing Quote
    • Local CRM Pricing Sales Order
    • Local CRM Pricing Opportunity

These tabs are available if your implementation includes a Back Office Extension.

The CPQ Details tab is available if your implementation includes Infor CPQ.

User Defined Section

You can drag and drop tabs into the user defined middle section. The tab will remain there until it is moved back to the lower section.
