Using the Lead Detail View
Use the Detail view to see, add, or edit information for a selected record. The Detail view consists of information fields, tabs, and a user-defined middle section.
Note: The workspace may be different depending on your access rights or if
the installation has been customized.
To open the Lead detail view, select from the navigation bar to open the Lead List view or use the Lookup to locate a lead, and click on the lead name.
On this page, you can:
- Switch to the List view: Click ( ), or the current group tab on the toolbar.
- Use the Lookup to search for records
- View a group
- The Task Pane, contains the Common Tasks section. In this section you can:
Information Fields
The lead information fields contain primary information of the lead. This section also contains the lead qualification fields. Users with appropriate permissions can edit these boxes.
Detail View Tabs
Each tab shows specific information you can use for lead related activities.
User Defined Section
You can drag and drop tabs into the user defined middle section.
