Working with a Dashboard Link widget

Use the links widget to display one or more links on a Dashboard tab.

To define or modify the widget properties:

  1. Click Dashboard on the navigation bar.
  2. Select the tab for which the widget properties must be defined or modified.
    Note: You can add or modify widgets only to a dashboard that you create.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click Add Widget on the dashboard menu and select Link, or
    • Click setting to modify the widget properties and the data source(s),
  4. The Widget settings window is displayed.
  5. Define or modify the properties for the widget. See Widget Settings.
  6. Add or edit one or more links.
    • To add a link:
      1. Click add.png . The Add / Edit Link window is displayed.
      2. Click Link URL and specify the link URL.
      3. Click Link Text and specify the text to be displayed as a link.
      4. Click Save.
    • To edit a link:
      1. Click edit corresponding to the link you want to edit.
      2. Edit the Link URL or Link Text.
      3. Click Save.
    • To delete a link from the list:
      1. Click delete_new corresponding to the link you want to delete.
      2. Click OK
  7. Click Save.
