Infor CPQ Overview

Infor Configure Price Quote (CPQ) is a visual, rules-based product configurator software that integrates with Infor CRM SLX to accelerate product configuration, pricing, and quoting. It captures engineering and pricing knowledge to enable sales reps and/or dealers to quickly become product experts.

When Infor CRM SLX is integrated with Infor CPQ Configurator or Infor CPQ Enterprise Quoting with the Configurator, the user can create price quotes using a list of available options. These options are automatically filtered to display only valid option configurations. During the configuration process, the sales professionals can generate as-configured drawings of the product based on selected options. This enables a quick, visual validation of the overall configuration.

Use the Infor CPQ Integration, EQ Configuration tab and Configuration Group tab to define the Infor CPQ Enterprise Quoting integration parameters. For specific steps, see Enabling CPQ.

Requirements
  • Infor CPQ Enterprise Quoting implemented and configured.
  • Infor CPQ Enterprise Quoting integration configuration parameters and endpoint defined in the Infor CRM SLX, Infor CPQ integration form Configuration Group and EQ Configuration tabs.
  • The EQ BOD Pack is loaded and configured with the corresponding ION Connection Point Logical ID.
  • Infor CRM Master Data Consolidation is enabled and existing data has been converted. For steps see What is Master Data Consolidation.
  • Infor CRM SLX and Infor CPQ Enterprise Quoting must be provisioned in a common Infor Ming.le tenant.

CPQ Enterprise Configurator

Infor CPQ Configurator allows you to define and use configured products for Opportunities, Quotes and Sales Orders in Infor CRM SLX. Use the Infor CPQ Integration Configuration Groups tab to define the CPQ-Configurator integration parameters. For specific steps, see Enabling CPQ.

Check with your host ERP integrator to ensure the three-way integration of Infor CRM SLX, Infor CPQ Configurator, and your host ERP system is a supported configuration.
