Adding Products to an Opportunity
You can add opportunity products when you create an opportunity or from the Opportunity Detail view Products tab using the Lookup Product dialog box.
To add:

Do one of the following:
- From the Insert Opportunity view, in the Products area, click (Include Product).
- From the Opportunity Detail view, select the Products tab, and click (Include Product).

Use the
lookup to select the product(s) you want to
add to the opportunity.
- To select more than one record, hold down [Ctrl] or [Shift], and highlight the records.
- Click Add Selected to add the selected products and remain in the window.
- When finished adding products, click Close to close the window.
- Click Refresh Pricing in the Opportunity Tasks section, in the Task pane, to retrieve the price of the added product.

To edit product information, do one of the following:
- Click Edit next to the product you want to edit, make you changes in the Edit Opportunity Product window, and then click OK.
- Click Select the record you want to
edit, make your changes in the grid, and then click (Save). To undo your changes, click (Reset) before you click Save.
You can edit the quantity, price, or discount.
The currency type and symbol are determined by the multi-currency settings.
